Essence Like An Unforgetable Kiss Blush 02 pink me

Also liegt eine zuckersüße Limited Edition nahe. Das dachte sich auch Essence und brachte somit eine Limited Edition namens "Like An Unforgetable Kiss" heraus, die ab Mitte Januar in allen Drogerien erhältlich ist. Nur Müller brachte die limitierte Zuckerdropfarbenschminke schon Mitte November heraus, sodass Müller-Kunden wie ich die Produkte schon früher bekamen als die Schminksuchtis in Müller-freien Gebieten.

So a sweetheart limited edition is immediately suggested. I think that the creative team of Essence thought this, too. Therefore they created a limited edition named "Like An Unforgetable Kiss". Very romantic, ver first-kiss-like. I don't like my first kiss. It's so too much of a stereotype. But my first kiss with the guy I'm in love with was fun, no cliché-stuff. ;) But back to business: In Germany this limited edition is aviable since the middle of January. But the Müller drugstores sold them since the middle of November, so some of the beautyjunkie kids had the chance to buy 'n' try this stuff earlier.

Herzstück sollen - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes - zwei herzförmige, matte Duo-Blushes sein. Nach Too Faced, Makeup Revolution und H&M Beauty nun also auch ein Herzblush bei Essence. Die Idee ist gut, besonders zu Valentinstag. Aber jetzt kommt das ABER. Beginnen wir mit dem kleineren Übel, der Nuance 02 pink me. Der ist zum Preis von 3,29 Euro mit 5,1 Gramm Inhalt limitiert erhältlich.

The centerpiece of this limited edition are two heart-shaped and mat duo blushes. Another heart blush after Too Faced, Makeup Revolution and H&M Beauty. The idea is good, especially for Valentin's Day. But now comes the big BUT. Let's start with the minor problem blush, 02 pink me. He costs about 3,29 Euro in Germany. And it's a content of 5,1 gramm blush inside.

Ich persönlich finde ja, dass die Blushes von der Optik her nicht so stark an die "Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush" von Too Faced erinnern. Ohnehin scheiden sich bei der Optik die Geister. Die einen finden die Verpackung wunderschön, andere finden die Aufmachung vom Design her nur schrecklich. Ich hätte mir persönlich ein Sichtfenster im Deckel und weniger Tamtam (Herzen, Herschlösser) auf der Außenverpackung gewünscht.

I think that the blushes are not like the Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush by Too Faced (The blushes by Makeup Revolution would be better dupes). There are a lot of opinions to the packaging of this blushes. Some of the beauty girls like them a lot, some of them think that this looks just ugly and cheap. My opinion is that I would like to have a viewing panel in the cap and not so much hearts and heart-shaped locks and that stuff on the outside of the box.

Wie auch die andere Nuance besteht der pinkfarbene Rouge aus einer helleren und eine dunkleren Seite. Theoretisch gut ... theoretisch. Denn so in der Theorie hätte man einen knalligen Blusch und gleich einen Highlighter für über den Wangenknochen dabei, alles matt und herrlich dezent. Und wenn einem der pinke Blush zu knallig ist, kann man ihn einfach durch Mischen schön dezent gestalten.

This blush contains a lighter and a darker sight. This is good ... in theory. In theory you have a bright pink blush and a perfect highlighter. And if the blush is too bright for your taste, you just can mix both colours to get a nice pastel pink.

Aber leider ist die Pigmentierung bei der hellen Seite so gut wie gar nicht vorhanden. Auf der Haur sieht man so gut wie nichts. Als Transparentpuder eignet es sich auch nicht, weil es nicht lange genug in der T-Zone bei meiner Mischhaut mattiert (ja, das habe ich auch ausprobiert.). Leider kann auch nicht die andere, pinkfarbene Seite mit allzu starker Pigmentierung überzeugen. Allerdings finde ich das nicht so schlimm, sofern es auf der Haut ein gutes, sichtbares Finish gibt. Solo würde ich den pinken Blush nun auch nicht weltbewegend gut, aber zumindest als soliden Alltagsblushbezeichnen.

The pigmentation of the lighter side is really bad. On the skin you can't see anything. And you can't use it as a translucant powder 'cause it doesn't stay long on the skin, espacially at the T zone. Unfortunetaly the other side of the blush isn't good, too. But you can see the colour of skin. But you have to mix both colours to get a good finish.

Leider ist die Textur auch alles andere als seidig oder ein Gedicht. Sie ist keine komplette Katastophe, aber schon krümelig und staubig. Der Vorteil ist, dass man sie gut verblenden kann, aber der Nachteil ist, dass man das Produkt schlecht layern kann, weil es einfach seltsam ab drei Schichten aussieht - als hätte man sich pinke Tafelkreide auf die Wangen geschmiert. Das Ergebnis kann mich nicht so richtig überzeugen. Ich bin keine Liebhaberin von Rougebalken, aber ich mag es schon gerne, wenn etwas von der Farbe auf meinen Wangen zu sehen ist. Es mag sein, dass ich mich ab und zu mit der dunkleren Nuance solo anfreunden kann, aber auf die Dauer ist mir dieser Rouge zu anstrengend.

The texture isn't smooth. It's no total fail, but it's kind of a little crumbly and dusty. You can blend the mix colours good, but you can't layer this product good. When you layer this product in 2 or 3 coats it looks like you have pinkcoloured blackboard chalk on your face. I don't like this overblushed style, but I want that that you can see the colour of my blush in my face. The bright pink alone as a blush would be better.

Zugute halten muss man dem Rouge allerdings, dass das Ergebnis beim Auftrag gleichmäßig wird. Leider ist auch die Haltbarkeit eher mau, da er bereits nach 4 bis 5 Stunden verblasst. Und das mag ich persönlich überhaupt nicht.

But one positive thing I have to say. The application is good. But, and there is also a but, but this blush doesn't last very long. I'm sorry that I can't write something better. It's not my taste of blush. A blush (in my opinion) don't have o be very bright - but a powder blush should be long lasting.

Mein Tipp:

Verpackungsopfer sollten stark sein und sich wirklich nur diesen Blush zulegen, wenn ihnen ein Pastellpink auf den Wangen gefällt. Allen anderen empfehle ich als schimmernde Alternative den Rouge aus der Essence EMA Rock Out Limited Edition - ein ähnlicher, aber neutraler Pinkton, der um einiges besser zu handeln ist und besser von Pigmentierung und Textur ist - gerade für Schminkanfänger ideal.

My tip is very easy: The blush of the Essence EMA 2014 Rockout Limited Edition has a similar colour. It has a little shimmer, but its not very glitterin. But you can handle it better than the unforgetable kiss Limited Edition blush.

Hier seht ihr die Blushfarben einzeln (1,2) - 2 ist geswacht ein bisschen ungleichmäßig beim Swatchen und auch auf den Wangen war die dunkle Nuance allein etwas schwerer gleichmäßig zu verblenden. 1+2 zusammen ergeben ein sehr pastelliges Pink, sehr unscheinbar.

Daneben befinden sich 2 Swatches des EMA Rock Out Limited Edition Blushes (EMA) und Vergleich dazu noch einmal die gemischte Farbe (UK). Ich persönlich halte den EMA Blush für den besseren der beiden - auch, wenn dieser leicht schimmert.

Here you see the single blush colors (1 and 2). 2 is swatched a little uneven - it's harder to blend this shade on the shades. 1 and 2 together give a pastel baby pink, it's a more natural finish than the darker shade only.
Beneath this two swatches is a blush of the EMA Rock Out Limited Edition Blushes (EMA) and on the right side of the EMA blush is the mixed colour of the Unforgatable Kiss blush (UK). I personally think that EMA blush is better - it has a little shimmer but it's easier to blend and to handle.
