Review: alpro Cremoso Apfelstrudel .... it's time for some vegan apple strudel yoghurt!

Yes, of course: The alpro Cremoso soy yoghurts are nothing super new. The sorts lemon pie and apple strudel were brought to market in August/September 2014. Last autumn the third sort blueberry muffin was added. But this blogpost is about the sort apple strudel.
For everybody who hasn't cost this yet: The Cremoso yoghurts of the brand alpro are not normal soy yoghurts. It tastes a little big like rich joghurt with cream in it or like curd creme. The taste is really rich and creamy - like the Name Cremoso wants to tell.
Like the name "Apfelstrudel" says, it's no ordinary cherry or apple yoghurt. It's a vegan yoghurt which tastes like a cake or pie!The first time I bought this yoghurt in autumn 2014 I was annoyed by the fact that this yoghurt has just 400 grams  instead of 500 grams like the "normal" soy yoghurts by alpro. But the incredible taste pardons this. The cup of yoghurt lasts for two to three servings.

Also wirklich so richtig nach Apfelstrudel.

Mein Fazit:

In my opinion it's hard to describe the taste of the apple strudel Cremoso. First there is this super creamy yoghurt in your mouth and also the taste of apple and cinnamon.  Though it's not only this. It's the taste of real apple strudel or apple pie, too!

My boyfriend was really, really sweet the first time the tried this yoghurt.  For your information: He has been vegetarian since a while, however he's vegan at the lenting time. And he's really interested in becoming a total vegan, but he needs to find a  suitable surrogate cheese and he misses the breakfast egg on Sundays. The only thing  I miss as a vegan is a replacement for feta cheese. The following happened yesterday: I bought a Cremoso at Rewe after a long day of work and set it on the fridge.
He tried it, loved it and and consumed it kompletely by his own. I think that this apple strudel soy yoghurt will be consumed more often by us in future. My favorite way to eat it is with an apple, scliced and braised lighty in a little bit of maple syrup. Just a sliced apple in it is good, too (if you have to hurry and no time). But the lemon Cremoso is just good when you eat it without anything else.
A good point is that vitamin B12 is added - for longer-term vegans like me it's an importent topic that your body need Vitamin B 12.
The ingredients are water, apple (10%), peeled soy beans (7,8%), sugar, plant oils and fats (sunflower, shea), glucose fructose syrup, thickener (modified cornstarch), tricalciumcitrat, acidity regulators (natriumcitrat, citric acid), stabiliser (pectin), emulsifier (sun flower lecithin), sea salt, flavour, cinnamon, caramel sugar syrup, antioxidant (tocopherol extracts, ascorbyl palmitate), natural flavour, yoghurt cultures (Str. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus), vitamins (riboflavin (B2), B12, D2).
My result:
The Cremoso apple strudel is a great yoghurt alternative for vegans. But 'cause of the sugar which is added to this product I treat it like a pie or sweets - it's something for special days, not a daily product for me.
